A bit more than a year after v5.5.2, here's my latest update. I did my best to focus on usability rather than looks, but also give it some personality. I also tried to incorporate elements from the feedback on previous versions: some made it in, some didn't and won't (round dial for volume) and some are still in the works, but not finished yet (auto downloading cover art). I removed the last.fm panels from previous versions (they were mostly eyecandy tbh), because I found the API to be "wonky" and replaced it with a search button.

Due to this site's policy, I can not include an .exe required for downloading artist images. This behaviour is turned off by default, but if you do want to use it the download location of the file and instalation instructions are included in the "readme" file (in the "Disclaimer" section).

Installation instructions, requirements, known issues, disclaimer, credits and distribution info are in the included PDF file.

It looks nice. I'm using it. Thank you.

I like it, but the volume bar and the progress bar above the album art are just white rectangles. I need to toggle the info off and on again to make it work. And then it's missing the playback order :/

Can't reproduce it. Is there anything in the console? Does reinstalling the theme or using it on a portable install work?

A little bit of a mess but I like it. Try to keep filters on the left flat, without borders. Also, rework buttons.

Can't. Facets doesn't support edges or row colors afaik.

Like: The simplicity and flat graphics, nice balance of colours, volume feedback and seek, nippy code.

Don't Like: Playlist is too slack and wasting space, toggle looks ugly - rather buttons, no album art playlist I like to see all my soundtracks together, I prefer darker themes as white themes is like looking at a light bulb on a monitor, the now playing info is a bit too slack for me. If the skin was darker, tightened up as it looks like loads of space is wasted and had an album view I would use it for sure. It's a good looking skin though, much better than the Br3tt's... j/k Br3tt :P

I may redo the toggles: I wanted something discreet and all other buttons I made "yelled" at me; if you have an example of a good, simple button, it would help a lot.

Regarding the darker skin: because it's DUI, it takes the borders between panels from the visualstyle of Windows: if I made it darker it would be crossed by light lines between dark panels, and since most people use a light or default VS, I decided to go with that.

I agree about NowPlaying: I made a compromise to fit two rows of text for long names; it might be changed in the near future.

Believe it or not, those took the most to make. I hate'em as well, but as it turns out my art skills remained the same since 4th grade. :frustrated:
